Verdict: carrot
Editor of Ghoti, CL Bledsoe liked this book. There’s something fishy about it…
In this hefty collection of flash fiction and prose poems, Jobson paints vivid portraits of black and white South African women in a post-apartheid world. These women face abuse, mental illness, racial discrimination, poverty, and any number of hardships. A handful of stories deal with the AIDS crisis and how it affects children and adults.

I loved 100 Papers, and am glad to see a carrot, although it's a bit disconcerting seeing it through such a different lens.
